Player handbook
Tournament format
  • Two stages: group stage, then knockouts.
  • Who advances: top 2 per pool (Lower Bronze Open) · top 4 per pool (Women's Upper Beginner).
  • Coin toss decides first serve and court side.
  • Scorekeeper on every court — passive, scores only.
  • Players call IN/OUT on their own side of the court. Disputed call? The point is replayed.
  • Standings: matches won → game difference → head-to-head.
Match scoring — Lower Bronze Open
  • Groups to semifinals: first to 4 games, no deuce (golden point).
  • At 3-3: tie break first to 7 · golden point at 6-6.
  • Finals: first to 6 games · at 5-5, tie break to 7 (win by 2).
  • Court sides: no change in groups · in knockouts, switch after odd games (1-0, 2-1…).
Match scoring — Women's Upper Beginner
  • Group stage: best of 5 games, no deuce (golden point).
  • Serve order: first server serves game 1 and game 5.
  • Quarters & semis: first to 4 games · at 3-3, tie break to 7 (golden point at 6-6).
  • Finals: first to 6 games · at 5-5, tie break to 7 (win by 2).
  • Court sides: in knockouts, switch after odd games (1-0, 2-1…).
Match rules
  • Court referee supervises every match but never calls in/out.
  • Medical time-outs: 1 × 2 min in groups · 2 × 2 min in knockouts. Need more? Marked as loss by retirement — score stops where it is.
  • Player appeals only via the appeal form, with evidence — no on-the-spot appeals.
Be on time
  • Standby 1 hour before your match — ready to play 30 minutes before schedule.
  • 5 minutes late: 1 game deduction · 10 minutes late: 2 games deduction.
  • 15+ minutes late: walkover — 4-0 / 5-0 (6-0 in knockouts).
  • Serve advantage goes to the pair already ready on court.
  • Early start only if both pairs agree.
House rules
  • Respect everyone: players, officials and spectators. Good sportsmanship is mandatory.
  • Unsportsmanlike conduct can mean warnings, disqualification or removal — no refund.
  • Play responsibly: be fit to play and report injuries to the committee immediately.
  • No littering — keep the courts clean.
  • No smoking or vaping in the court area — use the designated zone.
Player qualification
The committee may disqualify any participant found outside these rules. Dress code: official tournament jersey from the committee.

Terms & conditions
  1. A pair's place is confirmed only after full payment of the registration fee (Rp 550.000/pair). Places are allocated in order of payment, not form submission.
  2. Refunds: the registration fee is not refunded for cancellations initiated by participants, or if a pair withdraws, walks out, or fails to show up on match day. The fee is refunded if a pair does not pass the verification process, or if the event is cancelled by the organizer.
  3. Players must match their category level (Lower Bronze Open / Women Upper Beginner). All pairs go through a verification process — pairs that do not pass verification will have their registration fee refunded.
  4. Players must arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled first match. A pair more than 10 minutes late for a match may be declared walkover at the committee's discretion.
  5. Participants must wear the official event jersey provided by the organizer during all matches and photo sessions.
  6. Photo & video release: participants agree that photos and videos taken during the event may be used by The Padel Point for marketing and promotional purposes (social media, website, and other materials) without compensation.
  7. Assumption of risk: participants play at their own risk. The Padel Point, the organizing committee, sponsors, and partners are not responsible for any injury, accident, or health issue during the event, nor for lost or damaged personal belongings.
  8. The tournament format and schedule may be adjusted by the committee. All committee decisions are final.
